This is a series of paintings called Pop Tarts. They are basically inspired by a mixture between cubism and stained glass. The main subject matter tends to be food and drinks with an emphasis on wines, martinis, olives and oranges.

I started this series as a release from the normal boys and girls I paint and it gave me a way to paint in a style that I've been fighting back for years now.

Like with the rest of my work, these are very bright and a lot more complex. I try to utlize my knowledge in color theory to explain and lead the viewer through the paintings.

I'm also going to be doing a series called the Pop Tart 100 series. 100 pieces of 5.5" x 5.5" pop tarts with olives, oranges, limes, lemons in them. They are painted on the sides and ready to hang! You will not be disappointed with these!! I have also made sure that the prices stay affordable so that people can collect a few of these to make an interesting combination.
