This is my more realistic series of paintings. I started out wanting to do a painting of Sarah McLachlan, and it took me forever to get her right, but there was something about the challenge that intrigued me.

My next painting was going to be Kurt Cobain, but this time I wanted to paint LARGE! This is my first large painting and as it stands is my largest painting to date. I never sold Kurt because he took a long time to do, and I just felt I could never make enough on ebay to justify letting him go. So, he has a place in my studio to look over all of my new paintings.
